Ok, not really, but I found this terribly amusing. The other day my boyfriend and I were watching the sitcom "Rules of Engagement". Jeff is giving Adam crap over never having seen The Godfather. Adam gets all three, watches them, and says to Jeff that he loved I and II, and that III was the best of them all. I immediately say out loud "You're dead to me". Two seconds later Jeff says "You're dead to me". Heh.
I have this quirk where I'll force myself to try something once every 5-10 yrs or so to remind myself why it is I don't like it, or, to give it a second chance. Eggnog, bananas, pumpkin pie - still dead to me. Godfather III, ditto. I watched it again last night, probably haven't seen it since it came out. There are a total of 3 scenes "worth" watching in the entire 3hr film. The worst part of it? Sophia Coppola. That girl couldn't act her way out of a wet paper bag (at least back in the day, don't recall if I've seen her in anything else). At the very end in her last scene she's *finally* believable with her one word line.
